Turning Agreements Into Action

The Peace Agreements Monitor tracks how peace agreements are implemented. Through rigorous analysis of progress, setbacks, and political dynamics, it provides tools to inform policy and support durable peace.

Our Approach

Too often, peace agreements are dismissed as dead letters. We track implementation to prevent crises and support durable solutions.

Why It Matters

Agreements reveal the priorities of multiple actors, both state and non-state. Decoding them gives critical insights for mediation and diplomacy.

Understanding the Context

Implementation is fragile and contested. We monitor progress, involve all stakeholders, and develop tools like the Annual Peace Monitor to identify obstacles and solutions required for susainable peace.
